An invitation, an ode, an offering to build a stronger self by building a stronger community. An opportunity, a welcoming, a blessing to get to know someone new and strengthen our bonds. An experience, a tasing, an aphrodisiac to understand that when we sit together, we grow together, fight together, win together.
A community, a congregation, or a collective all require the act of gathering. To be successful, they depend upon conversation, intimacy, support, and so much nurture and care. @soft_when_ripe has given us at @theaphrodisiackitchen an opportunity to collaborate by opening up her home and setting the table for us to presently enjoy each other’s company. I have missed cooking for you all in a way that is navigated through my approach. With four summery courses, we invite you to come join 12 of us at the dinner table. Connect, relax, and enjoy some food—for your belly and your brain. DM me for RSVP and address. Saturday July 13th at 8pm.
Queer Anga is so authentically special, magical, loving, and nurturing. It is important. It is necessary. It is needed. Movement can be uncomfortable for queer, trans, and gender non-conforming individuals and this collective has created a space for everyone. They too have incorporated food into their curriculum and it is there we communicate, we connect, we grow. I am pleased to be a part of this monthly event. Go to their page for more information.

A Series To Nurture
Little Skips and The Aphrodisiac Kitchen are excited to introduce A Series to Nurture; a community dinner to cultivate conversation about wellness, conscious consumerism, and experience. Please join us Sunday, July 9th, for a five course dinner and discussion on the importance of a plant-based diet. Andreas Joshua, founder of The Aphrodisiac Kitchen, will guide you through the environmental impacts of factory farming and ways to introduce more plant-based foods into your diet and listen to your concerns about the transition to being vegan, vegetarian, or flexitarian.
The Aphrodisiac Kitchen welcomes everyone to our second community gathering. This time we celebrate each other. We celebrate our community. We celebrate us, as progressives, holding onto hope that we have the power to change our world. It's been a really rough few days and TAK wants us to remember, we have each other. Invite friends, family, likeminded individuals and RSVP at email@example.com. BYOB. Suggested donation $5 or one vegan dish.
